Piano rental...
Welcome to dbpianos! I'd like to share with you details of my low-cost piano rental scheme, perfect for anyone who has recently started lessons, or is about to begin.
When you first have lessons you may not be ready to buy immediately, but you will probably want to have a piano to practise with, so perhaps you might consider renting one instead? Of course you don't have to be a beginner to rent one of my pianos. If you're interested, get in touch and I'll try and organise a suitable instrument for you. I don't have a large stock of pianos ready for rental, but I should be able to lend you one temporarily if I don't have anything immediately available.
What I am offering...
The idea behind dbpianos is to provide an inexpensive used piano rental scheme with the option to buy later.
If, after renting a piano from me for a while, you decide that you want to buy the instrument that you're now familiar with, your rental costs (up to 12 months payments) will be deducted from the purchase price. Alternatively you can of course continue to rent, or just give back the piano and shop elsewhere.
Free delivery and tuning
I will deliver the piano to you at the start of the minimum rental period of 6 months. Should anything go wrong with the piano while you're renting I will sort it out for you as soon as I can, (free of charge, assuming it is not something that could reasonably have been avoided). Throughout the hire period I will tune the piano for you at least every 6 months.
Your side of the bargain...
In return, I ask that you look after the piano as well as you can, bearing in mind the advice given elsewhere on this website.
I also ask that you pay a small deposit at the start of the rental period – typically £50 – to cover any minor damage. I hope to be able to return this to you at the end of the rental period, or of course this would be deducted from the purchase price if you decided to buy the piano from me.
The first 6 months rental are payable in advance, and I request that you arrange to pay any fee after the first 6 months by standing order.
I hope you will agree that this is a great deal, and should enable you to get started with a piano in your own home without too much outlay at the start.
